David doesn't even notice the time slipping by. His face is buried firmly against Ivan as he rests against him and it's not until the man's panicked moving jostles him that he realizes what's happen.
Oh dear god.
He's sleep-rumpled, but the panic is contagious and he's forcing himself out of bed with a speed he didn't think he was capable of. He hadn't meant to fall asleep there much less cause a problem. How stupid had he been? And where the hell are his pants?
"I'm so sorry," he says quickly. "I didn't mean--"
The other man really has no right to look that delectable after napping, and Ivan briefly considers what he'd look like after an entire night pressed against Ivan's side. The thought is dispelled quickly as David attempts to apologize and Ivan finds his pants first, tossing them over to the other man before shrugging on his own shirt.
"It's okay," Ivan says in an attempt to reassure him, just as quickly. "It'll be fine, really, I'll see you next week?"
He'll just make copious amounts of excuses to his next client, that's all.
He catches his pants and fumbles to put them back on. He's never gotten dressed so fast in his life, but he's also never been chased out of someone's office like this.
"Yes, I'll be here." He wouldn't miss it for anything. Once he's full clothes and combed his fingers through his hair, he casts a longing look at Ivan. The urge to kiss the man goodbye is there, but even he knows it'd be in poor form to act on it.
"See you then," is all he says before he hurries out of the office.
