He's talking. Ivan is talking and there's some confusion that flickers across David's face as his brain tries to process sound and the expression the other man has.

There's the permission to ask, but he still feels embarrassed. He averts his gaze and shivers as Ivan's hand continues teasing him. David isn't sure how much longer he's going to last despite his every attempt to hold out. Material for later, no doubt. A thought he'll feel guilty about when his mind isn't clouded with lust. His hand twists up in Ivan's shirt keeping the man close in a loose hold.

When he opens his mouth to speak, a strained sound of want comes out first causing him to quickly shut his mouth. Okay. Time to try that again. "I, ah, wanted to kiss you," he murmurs finally once his vocal chords are cooperating. His next words come tumbling out of his mouth, "If that's all right."
